Women’s Voices. Women Vote (WVVW) and the Voter Participation Center (VPC) seek to increase the civic participation of unmarried women and other historically under-represented women by identifying, informing, registering, motivating, and mobilizing them to bring their voice to our democracy.
In the last presidential election, 20 million unmarried women were absent from the polls. WVWV and the VPC are committed to bringing the voices of these and other under-represented women to our democracy.
In August, WVWV and the VPC are mailing approximately 8 million voter registration applications to under-represented women in 35 states across the country.
Below, please find our letters to the Secretaries of State, informing them in advance of our mailings and our efforts to register unmarried women.
